給食プロジェクト・School Lunches Project

  • 月に一回、小学校給食に出る「外国の料理」をテーマに、その外国の言語や文化の学習を含めた総合科学としての食育を追求するプロジェクト学習。
  • A long-term, interdisciplinary project study on ‘foreign cuisine’, served in elementary school lunches once a month, including the study of the language and culture of that foreign country.

チョコレートプロジェクト・Chocolate Project

  • 中学校英語、小学校の外国語授業、小学校と中学校の家庭科を組み合わせたプロジェクト学習。カカオ豆からチョコレートを作るレシピを中学生と小学生が協力して翻訳し、実際に作る。理科や社会科を含む総合科学としての食育を通じて、ガーナの児童労働について考察する。

  • Project-based learning combining junior high school English, elementary school foreign language classes, and home economics in primary and junior high schools. Junior high school and elementary school students work together to translate and create recipes for making chocolate from cocoa beans. Learning includes consideration of child labour in Ghana through food education as an integrated science that includes science and social studies.
